For over the last 20 years, I have worked within the early education and child developmental field in a variety of positions that include:

As a nanny I have strived to bring the philosophies and goals of child development and psychology into the home, providing many preschool and school-ready skills to the children in my care in order to help bridge them to the next chapter of schooling. These are the same philosophies I continue to use as a parent and family coach and behavioral consultant, striving to offer families the best support possible.

My education includes:

• Bachelor of Arts in Social & Behavioral Sciences with a Psychology Minor

• Master of Sciences in Education Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis

• Completing fieldwork hours to be a Board Certified Behavior Analysis

• Behavior in Maine Schools, what supports students, educators, and staff members have.

• Studies focusing on Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports, a framework that promotes a whole school safety structure by supporting the social, learning, behavioral, and emotional needs of all students.

• Advocating for the nanny industry and helping to establish laws and labor regulations that protect nannies and domestic workers

• Supporting the goal for a Domestic Worker Bill of Rights

• Member of the National Domestic Workers Alliance

Early Childhood Education Funding + Policy Advocacy

Supporting + educations for legislation that advances the early childhood education system, provides funding for childcare, supports parents, and fair wage and support for early childhood educators and teachers.

• Have marched the national capitol and meet with both senators and representatives for Maine on ECE policies.
